Using a qualitative research methodology, Tthe author qualitatively investigates researches the degree of involvement of parents in school administration in Turkey. 15 schools within and around the city of Kastamonu were selected on the basis of the school socio-economic level. Then, semi-structured interviews were led with the 15 school Theadministrators. The results show that it parent involvement varies with socio-economic levels of schools, with obstacles and difficulties that vary along the same variable.
