This study examines the Philippines’ TVET system in the context of Industry 4.0 and the changing demand for labor. It seeks to answer the following questions: Is the TVET system and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) well positioned to face the challenges and meet the objectives of competitive workforce, and social equity/inclusion as per TESDA’s National Technical Education and Skills Development Plan 2018–2022? How can the Philippines’ TVET system and TESDA be more or better prepared?
