Guidelines for the quality assurance of TVET qualifications in the Asia-Pacific region

The Guidelines for the Quality Assurance of TVET Qualifications in the Asia-Pacific Region was developed by UNESCO Bangkok, working with Member States in the Asia-Pacific region. The guidelines are based on findings from 13 country studies which were carried out through a participatory process. The document was developed in response to increased migration and regional integration between Asia-Pacific countries and to the call for the development of quality assurance (QA) guidelines for the recognition of qualifications based on learning outcomes put forward at the Third International Congress on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Shanghai in 2012.
