Micro-credentials are a rapidly evolving component of post-secondary education and offer an innovative solution to the global need for flexible, accessible learning pathways. This case study examines how national frameworks can support the recognition, certification and storage of micro-credentials. It will help develop a micro-credential framework in Mauritius and can also guide planners and policy makers in other countries seeking to integrate micro-credentials into their own education systems.
